The UAE Ministry of Federal National Council Affairs deploys Scytl technology for the successful execution of the Federal National Council Elections 2015. Noted as the world´s first fully-electronic national election, it recorded a 119% increase in participation with the final results announced in a record time of just over 30 minutes.
The FNC placed its trust in Scytl and its election experts and technology to deliver an efficient, secure and transparent election process, supporting the UAE´s vison of building a strong election modernization foundation as the country strives for gradual universal suffrage.
His Excellency Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs (FNC) and Chairman of the National Election Committee (NEC), said: “The FNC Elections 2015 has been a huge success by all standards. With an increase of over 119% in the total number of votes cast and an increase in female voters reaching 38.94% compared to 32.57% in the 2011 election, we are well on the path of leveraging technology for continued citizen engagement and participation.”
