The European Patent Office grants Scytl a new patent

The European Patent Office (EPO) has granted Scytl patent EP1783696 which protects the proprietary cryptographic protocols developed by Scytl to guarantee voter’s privacy, vote integrity and election auditability in poll-site electronic voting terminals (DREs). The patented cryptographic protocols have been implemented in Scytl’s Pnyx.VM. As a leading research company in application-level cryptography and e-voting security, Scytl holds a portfolio of patents and patent applications worldwide.
