Scytl’s online voting solution to be used in the State of Washington

Scytl’s online voting solution  will be used during the King Conservation District (KCD) Board of Supervisors election in the State of Washington as an alternative to in-person balloting. Online voting has been made possible thanks to a recent change in the electoral code of the Washington State Conservation Commission. To ensure security, on-line voters will be required to complete a web-based voter application form and sign an affidavit (similar to traditional mail-in voting) in order to be authenticated and subsequently be emailed online balloting credentials. These authentication forms will be available through a Voter Application Portal available at http://www.kingcd.org/ starting February 14, 2011. This project will be carried out in cooperation with Election Trust.
