Scytls Internet voting technology will be used in the U.S. Presidential election

Nov 5, 2007

Scytl has entered into a contract with the Operation Bravo Foundation (OBF) to provide its secure Internet voting technology in the 2008 Presidential election of the United States. Scytl’s solution will be used by the overseas voters registered in Okaloosa County (Florida) to cast binding votes remotely in next year’s Presidential election. OBF, in partnership with the Supervisor of Elections of Okaloosa County and Election Trust, selected Scytl’s technology for its unique capability to allow individual voters to verify that their ballots were received and counted. OBF is a nonprofit organization established for the purpose of helping U.S. overseas civilian and military voters effectively exercise their Constitutional right to vote.
