Scytl´s innovative, secure and transparent election technology will allow for all party members to securely participate in online voting on May 18th, 2013. During the TNL Primaries, 3.500 voters will use the online channel to answer questions relative to proposed closed lists of candidates. The solution will cover the configuration of the election, creation of cryptographic credentials, creation of the interface via which voters can cast their secure digital ballot, the vote mixing process and vote tallying. The voting procedure is expected to last no more than two hours, allowing two minutes for each delegate to use any of the 60 workstations. In reality, a person familiarized with the system will require no more than one minute to complete the voting. Results are expected in no more than 30 minutes, a distinct improvement over the classical procedure, which lasted between four and five hours. Read the full press release here.
