After designating elections infrastructure as a key priority for cybersecurity assistance, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has launched the Election Infrastructure Subsector Coordinating Council. The Council, which is a cooperative effort between the DHS and leading industry companies, will facilitate efforts to share information on best practices to mitigate and counter threats to election infrastructure. Scytl was officially invited to join this council and ratify the council’s charter.
