Apr 8, 2020

Voters in over 60 counties across 13 U.S. states, including California, Texas, and Illinois, benefited from the use of Scytl’s secure election solutions during the 2020 March Primary Elections.

Scytl’s secure technology, including Online Election Worker Training, eBallot Delivery, Online Voter Education, and Election Night Reporting, helped numerous U.S. election offices ensure transparency, efficiency, and accessibility during their primary election.

Ahead of the elections, over 11,000 workers were trained in 6 jurisdictions using Scytl’s Online Training Platform, and more than 1,300 ballots were made available to UOCAVA (Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act) voters across 3 states through Scytl eBallot Delivery.

To increase election simplicity and accessibility, nearly 5 million registered voters in 18 counties were also given online access to essential voting information, such as sample ballots and precinct and polling location look-ups, using Scytl Online Voter Education.

At the end of the elections, Election Night Reporting provided secure Election Night results that were user-friendly, ADA compliant, and easily shared by voters, media, and candidates. These results benefited 24 million registered voters in 61 county elections across 13 states, as well as in 3 statewide elections in Arkansas, Colorado, and Mississippi.
