The European Commission awards Scytl with a research grant under the EU Horizon 2020 framework

The European Commission has awarded Scytl with a research grant to conduct a feasibility study for the development of AccessVote, the first online platform allowing voters to receive and complete their paper ballot electronically before returning it by postal mail or directly at the polling place. Funded under the EU Horizon 2020 framework, this highly secure and accessible remote voting platform aims at enfranchising 93 million voters with disabilities and EU citizens living outside of their country who currently face administrative or physical constraints to cast their vote.
