Jordi Puiggalí
Jordi Puiggalí has headed Scytl’s Research & Development Department since the formation of the company. He has been instrumental in the development of Scytl’s technology and intellectual property, co-authoring numerous international patents on application-level cryptography and e-voting security.
Prior to joining Scytl, Jordi was the Technical Director for PKI and security projects at the IT department of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. he has also actively collaborated with the cryptographic research group of the Department of Computer Science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona where he co-directed research projects on PKI and applied cryptography.
Jordi is a security expert and has participated as a speaker and lecturer in numerous international conferences on computer security and applied cryptography. He has a bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Jordi Cucurull Juan
Researcher
Jordi Cucurull is a member of the Scytl’s Research & Development Department. He is doing applied research in the areas of electronic voting, trust and security in the context of various industrial projects. In addition, he is also involved in research projects with academic partners.
Before joining Scytl, Jordi Cucurull was a post-doctoral researcher at Linköping University in Sweden. His research was devoted to intrusion detection and mitigation applied to delay tolerant networks. He also participated in the evaluation and optimisation of the energy consumption of mobile resource constrained devices. Among his duties he was also involved in teaching real-time systems, operating systems and green computing.
Mr. Cucurull has a PhD in Computer Science from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His thesis was devoted to the mobility, interoperability, and security of mobile intelligent agents.
