Scytl’s paper “Blockchain-Based Internet Voting” published at Springer

Scytl’s paper entitled “Blockchain-Based Internet Voting: Systems’ Compliance with International Standards” that was presented at the BIS 2018 International Workshop has recently been published at Springer.

After studying the potential of the blockchain technology in internet voting, Scytl identified a set of common features and challenges on how blockchain can contribute to the conduct of more transparent and secure elections and referendums through the analysis of several blockchain-based internet voting systems and their degree of compliance against the Council of Europe standards.

Blockchain technology can prove beneficial to internet voting elections, whenever specific security layers are applied to guarantee voter privacy and election integrity.
