Scytl joins Paris Call in support of private and secure online environments

On November 12th, Scytl joined the list of signatories to the Paris Call for Trust and Security in Cyberspace. The international agreement stands as a declaration in support of an open, secure, stable, accessible and peaceful cyberspace, and affirms that the same rights people have offline must also be protected online. Scytl has always maintained a strong commitment to protecting individual security and privacy, especially when it comes to online democratic processes. Given the innate link between human rights and cyberspace within the online electoral industry, joining the Paris Call stands as a testament to Scytl’s values as we continue to power democracy through innovative technology.

The signing of the Call is taking place during the Paris Peace Forum, an event dedicated to bridging gaps between governments in order to address overarching challenges in the world. The event will discuss the Paris Call’s nine current principles, and how the second phase of the agreement can further evolve.
