Alex Freitas joins Scytl as General Manager for Brazil and Peru

Alex Freitas has recently joined Scytl as General Manager for Brazil and Peru. Having opened the first Scytl subsidiary in Brazil, Alex will lead all the sales and expansion efforts for Scytl in Brazil and Peru, bringing over 28 years of international sales management, business development and operational experience to the organization. Prior to joining Scytl, Alex worked as a consultant, account manager, sales manager, general manager and VP for HP, Oracle and Aruba Networks.  As a Senior Consultant, Alex defined the network topology and infrastructure to support the Brazilian´s electoral process. He has dedicated the last 13 years supporting startups companies in Brazil and South America to establish their operation, go-to-marketing, PR, and sales objectives. Alex has extensive experience in successfully building and leading branding, marketing communications, demand generation, market intelligence and product marketing teams. He holds a BS in Business Administration and System Engineer PUC-RJ – Brazil, post-graduated in Networking and Object Oriented Systems, Executive MBA in FGV-RJ and Ohio University and Senior Executive post-MBA in IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland, in addition to several technical trainings in Stanford, MIT, HP Labs, Oracle Labs, Berkley and others.
