Onno van Dommelen
VP Strategic & Large Accounts
Onno van Dommelen joined Scytl in 2004 and currently holds the position of VP of Strategic Accounts & Alliances. He has been involved in the successful delivery of many high profile and complex election modernization, eDemocracy and eVoting projects worldwide, and has provided strategic electoral advice in over twenty countries including Australia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ecuador, Finland, Iraq, Norway, Peru, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
Onno is a seasoned expert with over 20 years of experience in the IT sector for multinational companies and governments worldwide. He holds wide experience in project management and also has extensive knowledge of software development methods, lifecycles, methodologies as well as software engineering processes, architecture and programming languages.
Before joining Scytl, Onno was responsible for software development for the Mecalux Robotics division, one of the world’s leading companies in the market of storage solutions. Mr. van Dommelen also has extensive experience in the successful delivery (both calendar and budget) of projects for organizations such as Hewlett Packard, Volvo, British Petroleum, Royal Dutch Army or Hoogovens.
